Activities conducted to encourage encounters and partnerships with the museum throughout Mie Prefecture
We conduct outreach activities, including traveling exhibitions and fieldwork, throughout the prefecture, and actively build partnerships with our regional partners to expand our museum activities outside of the museum.
Partnerships with schools
Support for school curricula through materials and exhibition know-how
We support school curricula by encouraging children, students and teachers to visit the museum and attend on-site lectures held outside of the museum. Besides, we also conduct research studies with them, and transmit information on the results of the studies through exhibitions held in different regions.
Traveling exhibitions
People’s interest in the museum enhanced throughout Mie Prefecture
We hold a variety of exhibitions, including the main exhibition, voluntary exhibitions and thematic exhibitions which are normally held at the museum, also throughout the prefecture.
Regional partnerships
Support for research, studies and information transmission in different regions
We hold joint exhibitions with other regional museums, conduct joint regional research studies in cooperation with different organizations, and transmit information through exhibitions and presentations on our studies, etc.

Rediscovery of regional attractiveness
Outside the museum, we conduct on-site lectures and nature observations throughout the prefecture for the rediscovery of regional attractiveness.
