By accident colors and lights have all but faded away when I continued photographing at night. I encountered dark night as if it were failed photographies. It is not failure, but photographed at extermely dark landscape with deep darkness on the spot, that is critical area of nightscape. Calling to mind the spot, I felt that I was absorbed into darkness around, and the boundary between darkness and myself also faded away.

After such encounter with photographies of darkness, my concern has passed from nightscape of light and colors with dark background to darkness itself in which landscape disappears, that is nightscape of critical area. The photographed darkness most dark in the world. The wonderful, terrible and calm time moving about in the limit of night. Hiding myself in the dark absentmindedly, there appear particles of the darkness with sandy feel from the bottom of night, together with almost completely faded colors.
