Floor Plan of Mie Prefectural Art Museam

Mie Prefectural Art Museum was established in September, 1982. Since then, we have presented you a wide range of exhibtiions, from worldly famous artists to unknown but important local mouvements.

It is a great pleasure for us that we can inform you of the date of renewal opening of our galleries. We temporaly closed all facilities for one year since Octorber 2003, for the sake of the extension and reconstruction of galleries.

Now you can see and experience our renewed museum. Not only can you appreciate our excellent collection, which we have acquired for 20 years, but also you can find the new and different ways to enjoy our museum, including shopping, eating and drinking, searching useful information about all kinds of arts.
