From 1985 on we realized Biennale of Figurative Painting twice, based on a question how figurative expression is possible in Japanese art scene after the radical transformation in the 20th century of artistic and moreover humanistic thought.

Here we present the 3rd exhibition of this series, establishing as a main theme Human lives / now, and at the same time eliminating traditional distinction in modern Japan between Yoga, Japanese modern painting by occidental technique and Nihonga, Japanese modern painting by traditional technique.
