5 January- 14 February 1993 Hours: 9:30a.m.- 5:00 p.m. Admission: charged Marc Chagall was born at Vitebsk in former Russia as a Jewish on 1887. His works filled with personal fantasy are very popular in Japan, too. Although already Mie Prefectural Art Museum possesses a oil painting La branche, 7 drawings of his early days and a series of lithographs Le cirque, commemorating 10 anniversary of the museum we held an exhibition dedicated to Chagall. In this exhibition we presented Chagall's world by 5 themes which seem to be important for Chagall;
