Funakoshi Katsura: The Sphinx in Myself

Funakoshi Katsura (born in 1951, Morioka) is an acclaimed contemporary sculptor, known for his works depicting human figures who appear to be looking into the distance. The displays include 30 sculptures and several dozen sketches, recalling his activities from their early stages to the present, and showcasing half-length nude figures and anomalous figures, which he has been putting special emphasis on recently.
